One thing I have always wondered is, how often do you really need to sort something? It always seems to me that the best way to go about getting sorted input is to constrain your inputs in such a way that you will always have a sorted array. Also, how often does one need something to be sorted. Not as much as we talk about sorting algorithms it seems.
It says I can't see go to the webpage because I'm not using a supported browser. I'm using Firefox 3 on linux. However, I can see the webpage if javascript is off, but not much is there.
This is not true at all. I know plenty of parents who are well educated and place a lot of importance on grade. For example, my parents are both first generation doctors from India, and they place a lot of importance on grade and I don't think they are wrong for doing so.
Yeah, I fail at this too, but I use my console for coding. So, increasing the font size of my console hurts me when I'm using the shell, so I don't feel like increasing the font size. It also limits the amount of code you can see; really you should just cap your functions at some arbitrary length 25-50.
Maybe he meant incrementally increase your coding abilities, you know, master a new keyword in 6 minutes, read the source code of an open source project in 6 minutes, run a static analysis tool in 6 minutes, ..., and write a compiler in 6 minutes.
