My idea would be to add an indicator light at both licence plates that indicates an autonomous control in effect.
The state should require all semi or fully vehicles have a special registration to provide an ability for LE to disable the car in an emergency or to intercept criminal activity.
My position is that industry has a long and well documented history or over inflated claims and hyperbole. The FDA exists because of the danger of claims that get made. Even recently a product was recommended to treat dogs that was like 90 proof alcohol which was toxic. So yeah I have a hang-up with naturalist stores that I feel is well justified.
Yes, I was posting this in the context of a clinical study. A good study will try to account for its controls, that was my point. The only problem is in the wide variability of the actual product to be used. There needs to be information on a manufacturer/producer and the form of the lavender oil/extract and application. Taking a bath, topical application, alcohol based mist etc..
My wife had a very stressful and painful delivery with our first. During her 3 day recovery at Kasier, our nurses provided a lavender treatment (oil on a cotton ball) to help reduce her stress and calm her heart-rate. Our nurses had provided us with a patient information sheet that Kaiser had prepared specifically for this situation.
The key here is this was a very targeted and prescribed treatment performed by trained professional staff with a lavender oil product intended for use in a hospital. Not some huckster MLM agent that selling good knows what.
I started using Site 24x7 from Zoho about a year ago for all of my apps and my clients "basic" websites.
It ended up being a great tool for me because it allows for the most basic ping test and to content checks to be setup in 10 mins. It also has the ability to add reporting based on apps, servers, and databases. The aws add-ins helped me tune my usage, as i was paying way to much for a couple services that i could downgrade with out impacting my apps.
I feel it is priced right and a good value up to the 89/month plan.
Long time watcher of LR, he's been calling out a$$le on their shitty behavior for awhile. The right to repair fight is going to go red hot next year. A$$le is quickly moving to refusing all repairs and bricking anything that is repaired.
The main issue is not that a$$le does this, but they do set an industry standard (e.g. killing headphone jacks to sell ear tampons). John D$$re, $ony, and a few others have been trying to do this quietly, but a$$le is starting to do it in the open now. $ chars used to avoid copyright claims against free speech.
I've watched this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CI3Zo3Ax494 on "This Old House" years ago and it also stood out as really well designed, instead of a product looking for a problem to solve. The issue is always cost but this system seemed more on track with reality.
There was quite of bit of discussion about this last year. The goal was to activate the cold water bubble/mist field around a 1000 miles from the shore. The theory is that before the storm hits warm shallow waters that increase the strength of the storm, the cold mist could collapse the thermal convection turning a major hurricane into a tropical storm at landfall.
Note my response is NOT based on someone trying to build a wood framed house, rather it is based on someone who wants to build a massive concrete structure.
Permits and Permission. You need to understand very clearly where and what you are allowed to build. You can go bankrupt trying to develop the wrong land before a single bucket of dirt is ever moved. Neighbor lawsuits, land use restrictions, easements, building review, public notice, taxes, etc...
Of course this depends on where you want to build and if you are starting with a developed lot. An existing structure on a residential lot has crossed a lot of red tape, permits, reviews, and has underground and above ground utilities (if needed). Work with a real estate agent to find suitable lots, if you already have a lot time to visit your local building department. Get a property map, building code checklist, and a permit application paperwork. A local architect will be your next stop. Before you can go much further, you need a site plan and a survey to determine soil condition. You'll need a soil engineer to verify your site can support a massive concrete building without some exotic foundation so it won't sink (that much). Next you'll submit a draft permit to get approval and they will give you a ton more paper work or may reject it or require public review.
Finally you will need a hire a concrete building and engineering contractor. Post tension concrete and concrete buildings are a specialty. Everything needed to build a concrete structure requires experience and purpose built hardware which is seldom available to the public because it will fail if not installed correctly. Also a concrete contractor will give you your first real estimate of building costs and can identify the cost centers of your project. Never relay on an architects building estimate, they are not the ones doing the work.
A (well made i.e. realistic) video of assembly/unboxing would really highlight your value proposition. Also my first reaction is to the gaps or smoothness between planks, visually it looks like a deal killer, so maybe highlight that this isn't an issue in the top line copy or with a photo. Good Luck!
