Let's say Firefox itself makes you want to overwhelm it with addons. Either way it can't do more than Chrome, and Chrome is faster, so why should I use Firefox then?

I don't think serious web applications such as LinkedIn or Last.FM use Ubuntu, but I wouldn't have thought they would had unsalted passwords stored, either.
