I've used this pretty frequently and it was great. Nowadays the new testflight makes this obsolete for external testers, but is still useful for internal testers to quickly get their UDID.
A lot of hardware manufacturers offer their own SDKs for interacting with their beacons, not letting you get the UUID of the beacon itself. Are you interacting with all providers' SDKs?
Developer here! This is the first game I made, doing the game design and the development and my friend doing the art/audio. I'm excited to see what you guys think.
As someone only familiar with the MVC paradigm and being fairly new to Cocoa/Objective-C, does your book cover an "implementation" tutorial or some sort of introduction to writing a project with MVVM?
Warby Parker's value proposition isn't in a custom product, it's in having a product free of massive markup. Not sure where you are see the relationship between the two.
1) The gallery and buy now overlap but not enough. You should be able to buy prints from the actual print page. Consider using the buy style view as your gallery (Much like a product listing page)
2) The homepage is nothing but a directory. The carousel is moving too fast, use it to showcase recent or popular prints (no carousel.)
3) Consider why the user might actually be coming to the page? The entire bottom half (about, recent posts, twitter) can be combined into a sidebar which would be more economical space-wise
Not that I wouldn't take fashion advice from HN, but I would never take fashion advice from HN. I can guarantee there are more important things you can do to change your appearance and 'have an effect' than wearing a bow-tie. An example would be having a proper fitting suit, which most men can't seem to understand. This can show attention to detail.
I'm not going to go on because frankly there is probably a threshold for interviewers - if you look like shit, its a bad thing, if you are passable then that is status quo. It won't matter how well you dress beyond that unless you're being hired as a stylist.
Sorry to be a cynic but isn't this a textbook case of a non-technical founder? Not sharing any information about the idea? It must be super secret and great.

I think the problem is that people think you can "teach design". Knowing how to use the tools isn't hard in the slightest, if you don't have good taste then it's impossible to ever design something that looks good to the general eye. Knowing how to use Photoshop or HTML/CSS is like knowing how to use a pencil - it doesn't make you an artist. I'm not saying this is a waste of time, but design isn't something you just teach.
I think one of the most important things you need to handle is the empty results page. Don't have your users reaching a dead-end, especially right now since you have a small user-base. You should continue the experience for the user, possibly by providing them with a link to where they can buy it themselves (be it on Amazon or Chegg) and maybe throw in an affiliate link if you're set on earning money.
Stand up comedy. As a business school graduate, I can say that there aren't enough courses doing speaking. I'm signing up for an improv course next month so that I can get better.
I'd say the best way is to be in college and seed it among your friends/connections that have their own circles in college. Ex: residences (perhaps a don who can speak to the freshman on their floor), clubs, classes, etc.
