Narration of marketing or educational materials without hiring voice talent. For instance, if an independent developer wants to create a short video that explains key features of their software project. The voice should sound natural enough that the listener doesn't get distracted questioning whether it is real or hear silly mispronunciations.

It's like a weather rock: if you are checking the tool, that confirms you are most likely burned out.

BBEdit's ability to save search and replaces, and even long sequences of multiple search and replaces, is still unmatched.

I used BBEdit for about 10 years. I liked being able to create macros that included multiple grep search/replaces. I think I remember being able to files items from the sidebar straight into a SFTP app instead of opening them in a separate finder window...but that might be a false memory. It was extremely hard for me to leave it behind for SublimeText, but I did...and eventually moved on to VSCodium from there.

Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long, long time.

In my experience, just having the ability to "modularize" the common elements on pages of a site (navbar and footer, for example) is the biggest task for most simple websites. There are lots of frameworks out there that do this, at the expense of making everything else on the website "html with extra steps". React comes close to solving this, but there's not a "react lite" that does it more elegantly that I know of.

I got steadymouse several years ago for my father when he developed parkinsons. It's been a huge benefit in his life. Thank you.

>Bait and switch >You set out to do one thing, but a different, undesirable thing happens instead.

This was back in the day, but I used to always go to IMDB to search for movie details. Inevitably, when I'd go to click on the search box, the site would suddenly get around to loading in a banner in the exact spot, pushing the search box down, and resulting in me inadvertently clicking the banner. I was almost certain it was by design.

I don't know how much time you need to work, but it might be good to try donating some time to a cause that matters to you, no matter how small.
