Why is this advertisement on HN? These types of devices are not new. You can get "Bluetooth Transmitters" etc on eBay that work just fine for $10.

I think they missed a “This is an advert” header?
Also, that looks like quite a box. Look forwards to buying a new one when you forget about it, stand up (or shift position) and shear off the connector in the socket (this has happened to me before, and was a cheap cable replacement).

My solution to this problem was to buy a £1.50 3.5mm extension cable so I can practically turn around in my seat several times without worrying. But this probably is neater.
