Great opportunity for a Tesla marketing spin, predictable of Elon.

Apple is a 1st mover in innovation, but a 2nd mover in business.

It’s strategy has always been to wait for competitors to test demand and market waters, then once this is validated, to carve in, innovate and use its brand to gain market share and ultimately dominate it. It did it with Fitbit to make the Apple Watch, not surprised it will with Tesla.

I don't think there's a lot of value to micro-analysing Musks tweets whether they're true or false. As he says - the report as it's written doesn't make any sense anyway. (Also Tesla at 1/10th of it's current value is still astonishingly expesnive and probably more than it was worht this time last year)

Or at the time he didn't think Tesla was going to make it.

He said a few times it came within a couple of weeks of failing when the Model 3 ramp wasn't working.
