You would burn through that windfall quickly if you didn't invest it properly. Many lottery winners are now broke because they weren't financially savvy. You have to stay in the game. Wealth for me is money not spent. The car you didn't buy, the fancy house you didn't splurge money on. And margaritas on the beach gets old quickly, so you need to chase new experiences all the time if you have the money.
I get that a couple of millions are a dangerous amount - it's not that much if you live like a Kardashian.
