PSA: use the jetbrains toolbox https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox-app/ -- it will have updated (or not, if you prefer) your apps in the background, automatically

And don't forget to change the default in the Toolbox, that keeps all previous versions...Or you will quickly wonder where all your disk space is going into...

And check the disk space being used under "Clean up leftover tool directories..." There was about 39GB of stuff from older versions on my Mac

that's daft, wouldn't it make sense to limit it to previous N versions (either by age or version number), not all versions?!
