This sounds terrible and I would immediately not want to work with someone who cannot even be bothered to talk to me in person. I certainly would not appreciate a random phone call from a robot asking me personal questions about my work or ideas of my future. Also Having used an essentially identical product from jack and Jill I did not like discussing with their robot either. That being said Jack and Jill’s email agent is somewhat good at finding jobs I find interesting. But actually the best part of the jack and Jill interaction so far has been discussing with a real person who wanted to know why I stopped using their product. Sorry to be so negative but I prefer interacting with humans. Humans provide a level of trust in an interaction because you understand that they understand the human experience. A robot does not.
Thank you for the feedback, the problem at the moment is that it's not AI vs Humans, it's job seekers applying to hundreds of jobs and never hearing back from the recruiters. It's not AI vs Humans it's AI vs being ghosted, AI vs application void, AI vs keyword filters. Our platform allows people to showcase their skills at least rather than getting blocked by an ATS.
Yeah, I get all that. But I think the problem is that companies are beholden to shareholders instead of to customers and employees. This inhuman void that job applications go into is a symptom of that, and it won't be solved by technology.
Actually no, the problem is that technology has removed all friction in the application process which means that anyone anywhere with any skills can apply to any jobs at no cost and no time investment. The result is talent acquisition teams flooded with thousands of applicants. They have no choice but to reply on dumb ATS filters which arbitrarily block applicants. We are providing an alternative, a way for candidates to showcase their skills through a video interview with an AI that understands them.
Well, I guess making the interview process incredibly unpleasant and dehumanizing is one way to reduce the flood of applicants.
This also largely eliminates a very important aspect of interviews: they're two-way streets. The applicant is interviewing the company as much as the company is interviewing the applicant. Being unable to talk person-to-person makes that impossible.
