Thanks for your suggestions, here's a follow up:
1. Hooking up with external realtime data source was not in my plans, but I understand your need. The closest I think we can get is to add as a Bases View and use a property or formula to define radar positioning, as it just needs to translate priorities to polar coordinates (radius from 0..1, theta from 0..359)
2. I'll improve the screenshots in the next release. Btw, the plugin allows you to change blip font size so it shouldn't be a problem to use it.

2. not sure if it'll be better in-app, but quickly check the screenshot, the object titles are a bit small on radar view. It should be more readable.
