I hope that train rides get more and more popular and especially cheaper.
At the moment I am looking at a 10 hour car-trip to the mountains in Switzerland. The train trip would be the same. The only sad part about it is that it would cost me and my family around 900 Euro's. If we would calculate the car trip it would be around 242 Euro.
In the train I can read, chill, watch out the window, play board games with my children,...
In the car I need to pay attention to the road, my children are hooked to a tablet or annoyed and bored.
But to go to the UK with the train it is a no-brainer. 2 hour trip to arrive in the middle of London, Paris, Amsterdam,... for 200 Euro's for the whole family.
It also just doesn't make sense. Like, we train a human and that takes 20 years of food.
To train an LLM it needed a collection of 800TiB of data (The Pile). To generate that pile, you needed millions to billions of humans. So did training the LLM now suddenly take 20.000.000 billion years of food or are we not allowed to make the same shitty comparison.
Are you saying that two audio files each watermarked for a specific different user will not show a difference? Because then I am genuinely interested in how they achieved that feat
