We are building smart cameras for industrial automation and robotics. We are on our 3rd generation design with a 20.5TOPS Toshiba ASIC and Sony image sensors. A lot of sweat and tears have gone in the hardware and software design.
You can load AI models like YOLO, resnet, MiDAS onto it and we are working on porting some generative AI models onto it as well. We have tried to make this as easy as possible for non-devs to be able to use it:
Save yourself a huge mess and don't try using an electric handheld mixer to do the initial oil stir...I got peanut butter EVERYWHERE. It's a nightmare to clean.
Wow, I can't imagine living somewhere so remote. I wish I was better at meal planning/prepping/organizing, but it's a work in progress. I also want to get into preserving, pickling, etc. I think since fresh food is readily available where I live and I have the privilege of usually being able to afford fresh produce I've lost touch with how to have a "cushion" in case of emergency (which is something I was raised with).
Interesting read. I think something that bothers me more than trying to remember passwords (I have a system) is when an app or website won't let you see what you've typed! It's so easy to make a typo, especially on a phone and nothing infuriates me more than that "wrong password" message popping up when I can't even view what letters/numbers I've typed in before hitting enter.
