UBI in effect would clean the most degenerate and ignored few in society while at the same time liberating the masses from aimless drudgery. It will inject cash into the consumer market and lower risk to seeking credit. I see it as the ultimate form of capitalism when everyone has a means to acquire goods and services at a mutually agreed upon standard. I also see it as the only option to avert a cataclysmic economic event when we all get layed off and replaced by robots. I believe there was supposed to be a 10 year pause to any structural changes to Activision in addition to keeping the Call of Duty IP non-exclusive, firing these workers is a gain for Microsoft as it recoups cash from the merger and if anything this makes Activision dependent on its new parent Microsoft so the FTC has a good point here but I doubt they will get anything.

I have a deep feeling that in the future on any given street a random group of people wearing glowing ski goggles will mindlessly flail there hands in the air talking to themselves in broken sentences that are impossible to make sense of, similar to the cellphone addicts of today who look down at there toes with indifference about the world around them, these hand flailing people will be another liability to consider when stepping off a bus platform onto a busy street.

Fees on digital payments by merchants should be banned, if we are going into a digital era without cash and an expectation that everyone pays digitaly then they should come along with us and be more accommodating or atleast more realistic if they want our business, even if it is just a small cup of coffee the convenience of tap and scan is far superior to dragging your feet to a machine in the middle of the night looking over your shoulder always expecting the worst.
