Might be the only digital marketer comment here, but it was defiantly worth the 39$, saves tons of times and generate a lot of data that is needed for my testing
If you're introducing a new technology or service, what worked with us is 1o1 meetings with local customers, just giving them an intent that the 15 minutes meeting is going to be worth their time.
Secondly, (maybe it's mentioned I've read all comments) you need a community and keep it active and read the on going discussion on how people think of your product
I wasn't clear in my post (Didn't want to make it long), I don't have an early users, we are launching alpha release with no pricing models just to get feedbacks on features or UX etc but I have in plan to get feedbacks on how the pricing should go, but I Don't have a plan for how the freemium plan should.
The goal of freemium is to get as many users as possible to test out our service. There is much to explain through Ads so the best option is to get them testing the service themselves.
I've too many ideas on my mind on which features should I limit or how should I, but I don't have any data or past experience with freemium models. also an idea that came to mind is to A/B test different models but I am not expecting much traffic at the beginning of our launching based on our budget.
