I had plans to do something similar and I'm happy you've saved me the time. Thanks for sharing!

Fascinating. Now, I want to try it before the humans put a stop to it :)

Googled "Marey chart" and "Marey diagram" and your site showed up on the front page. That's impressive as it looks like you only published a day ago!

That's a very interesting line of thought!

Politicians and public figures could use something like this for interviews or taking questions on the podium to tweak their speeches in real-time to sound more legit.

An antidote for this would be an OSS alternative for the rest of us to identify dishonesty/inconsistencies and fact-check in real-time.

I spotted this gem of a comment while scrolling and had to scroll back up to be sure I hadn't misread it. It's both hilarious and pertinent! Well said, "Big Toe."

Impressive! I appreciate not having to FFW to the useful info in the video. It's concise, to-the-point, and effectively shows what you made and how it works. Looking forward to trying it out.

I'm interested in this info, too. In case nobody wants to share their advice, the article offers a simpler approach if needed:

“With good binoculars, the banding (at least the central band) and three or four of the Galilean satellites (moons) should be visible,” said Adam Kobelski, a research astrophysicist at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. “It’s important to remember that Galileo observed these moons with 17th century optics. One of the key needs will be a stable mount for whatever system you use.”

This sounds like an interesting writing prompt. I'd love to see this turned into a short story!

Nice job! Fast and easy to use. It took me more time to choose what photos to upload than it did to process them.

Edit: I should mention that the editing prompt is a nice add. Oh, and the About page ;)

Is there a way to download the final image?

That's disappointing. I would imagine that many of these sites will eventually be lost to natural and man-made events. At what point can we say it's time to excavate before it's too late?

This is a mixed bag of both good and bad. Imagine a domestic violence victim being tracked/stalked by their abusive partner. Conversely, allowing citizens to monitor these cameras could potentially help prevent/solve crimes. In the end, it's probably a Constitutional dilemma that will find it's way into the high courts someday soon.

Fascinating! The wiki says they've only uncovered 5%. I'm very curious to see what more they'll discover!

I was excited to try this, but the page is stuck on "loading."

I love this idea of extending the canvas to build out the scene. It makes me wonder if anyone's tried using Poe's stories for illustrating with AI? His descriptive writing style seems ideal.

It feels like a tsunami is coming and we have no idea how big it will be.

A documentary about this would be great. Especially, if it was a series that covered peaceful, disruptive protests over the years. It would be helpful for those wanting to do something similarly effective without the violence and chaos we've seen over the last few years.
