You know pebble is back? Also Old Pebbles still work perfectly and are supported by the latest software stack.

This! I need some better browser extensions to just start suspending JavaScript after the pages been in the background for a period of time.

I've tried all of the auto discard type extensions but yeah back on CPU usage is crazy

What's the best in-ear ANC you found? I usually stick with over the ear and bose still has the best that I've tried compared to Apple or Sony

Explain the no glasses part to me? I read the study you linked but in there they used opaque glasses.

G604s are pretty annoying to open up but if you don't want to solder on eBay they have full replacement boards that you can just drop in that have new switches already soldered in there for you.

They have changed the default focus lock timeout behavior over the years, but you can still very easily tweak it to whatever you want

You want to change the ForegroundLockTimeout registry key or set it via power shell.

by default if you haven't typed anything for a little bit Windows allows an application to steal focus. If you change that value you can prevent windows from ever stealing focus or change how long they have to wait before they're allowed to.

Windows has a ton of little settings you can tweak like this if it's not working quite how you like it.

I personally tweak it the other way to allow a window to pop up and still focus sooner .

If you set up via PowerShell you can do it more dynamically and if you're doing it via the API there's behavior in there too force a lock

Change the ForegroundLockTimeout registry setting to increase the timeout, or you can set it to the max integer value to never let the app steal the focus.

I love bed heating/chilling systems (eight sleep, chilipad, etc) Otherwise I'd go to bed and be cold so I'd put a blanket or two on then wake up being too hot kick it off and repeat.

Yeah you definitely want to use the dev builds for openscad

The biggest downside is I don't think you can directly connect to the pebble for that it'll have to go through the phone. One advantage of the index if it doesn't rely on your phone to be available right then

Right now I've got it set where I hold down a button on my pebble and it post it to my Trello but with Advent to LLMS I'm planning on linking it to have that do some of the review process

Yeah I pre-ordered but for what it's worth I've already been doing this with my pebble for close to a decade but the ring lets me trigger it via a single hand

If you want quiet, look into a diy computer fan based corsirosenthal box. Also ends up being far cheaper

Really? I've got a few cheap sensors and while they're not always accurate in an absolute sense they are in an directional sense. It's extremely evident for Windows opened if someone is cooking if I turn on an air purifier, etc

It's cute but unless you really need the size+ onboard screen, I don't see the big win of this over an Apollo air-1. (Esphome based, easy HA integration.

Or an inkbird - I paid $99 for one with co2, HCHO, AQI, PM2.5 PM10, TVOC, Temperature, Humidity. It has a display and integrates with home assistant. Built in battery if you want to move it around.

I own both of those. A DIY it but I haven't seen a good reason to.

The big advantage of the ESP home devices out there is they are extremely easy to tinker with if you want to change anything

What erv are you using?

Super easy, use esphome. There's a few vendors out there that sell pre built devices, and they usually make their configs available if you want to DIY it. For example Apollo automation.
