I mean, this thing lacks utterly basic features like the ability to buy your own domain, the ability to show a photo gallery of your restaurant, and some actual customizations so your site doesn't look like all the others.
The site is really cool for a proof of concept, not a relatively mature site.
Phone/tablet gaming with no external input device sucks for anything except puzzle and strategy games (just try it, it's impossible to move a character with any accuracy).
And if you require an input device, it's no longer portable so you might as well also have a bigger screen.

First by them with their $300+ markups on shitty hardware, then by every damn app developer asking to pay for their crap, with Apple colluding with them and taking a 30% share.

Well for starters it needs to support many more websites (Facebook, Google/Youtube, Reddit, etc.) and needs to actually do the check automatically.
And it must be able to register the usernames in bulk, bypassing registration limits using multiple proxies and bypassing captchas using deathbycaptcha.com or similar.
Finally, support for generating realistic-looking activity on the websites would also be really useful.
Of course, the authors of the driving software of the car at fault need to be the ones liable, since they are the only ones that can prevent the issue.

How about introducing "credit cards" implemented as smartcards with an USB plug (and maybe a microUSB one too for smartphones), an LCD display to show the charge amount, payee and a "pay" button?
That would instantly make fraud impossible short of physical theft of the device.
You know, it's not rocket science to create a program that creates say 10000 connections to the server, does some prerecorded game actions using a minimal implementation of the protocol, and run it on 1000 Amazon EC2 instances simultaneously... et voila, 10 million client connections just like real launch!
