How can you trust a system you don't control or see how it uses your data?
With this premise the main claim becomes invalid imo while I agree with your point what users desire but I still think control and sovereignty are major points
I wouldn't say railways are cheaper but they are definitely much more efficient and environment friendly.
One of the big issues is it that is very hard to build new railway tracks. The current German infrastructure is already near the limit and the time and cost till a project starts (a lot of issues with people living near it, costs, regulations) is very high.
All in all I think it's a good idea to improve existing infrastructure but not sure if it will scale.
This was exactly what I thought when reading about this. I'm pretty sure the one codebase for multiple plattforms just won't work.
An app has it advantages so has a website. Mixing those up leads to something that just combines the disadvantages of both.
And this my main critic on Flutter: It just doesn't feel good. Maybe it does on Android but it surely doesn't on iOS or on the Web. I would rather prefer something where I can share a core codebase between platforms and then implement a user facing layer with all the plattform specific features
That biometric data is stored by a government is a whole other discussion in my eyes.
If they provide a secure API that just let's you query through facial data and return which passenger from the company provided list it is I'm fine as long as the biometric data gets destroyed afterwards (the one provided to the API).
But of course how can I know this as a passenger.
I like the idea to make a process less painful but yeah it seems to have a lot of pitfalls
I‘m sorry but the author is indeed a bully. I get the point why it may be unethical to copy and claim it’s someone’s own work but afaik the “real” coders were alright with this.
The author tries with all effort to proof that this kid can’t Code by saying how experienced he is and that he was also smart when he was her age. For me this sounds like being very jealous and frustrated.
Would love an account feature to have your progress cross devices
