Vue is great. I loved the old Options API and was resistant to the new setup/composables way of doing things. But as soon as I tried the new way I loved it. I think it will scale much better as well.

That's not the title of the article, nor a description of its content

The agricultural lobby sold us things like the food pyramid which said eat more grain, for example. I think people have become more conscious of such manipulation and so things have turned around. Unfortunately, capital, as always, has figured out how to co-opt the change in attitudes as well as weird Internet fad diets (e.g., gluten free) to keep people buying from the middle of the store.

I haven't noticed a significant battery drain. I charge my one year old phone once a day. Merge conflicts aren't too bad, although I don't encounter them often. When there's a conflict there is a file for each version and it's easy enough to resolve.

+1 Logseq is great. I use it with Syncthing across my devices.

I'm excited about Unison as a language so I'm glad to see something that will hopefully give it some additional forward momentum

Why does it need to compete with tech giants for people to be enthusiastic about it? Having an organic community is good for longevity if not massive short term adoption.

Wow. Now I really don't understand the cult-like reverence for PG on here. That he begins his post about Livingstone by referring to her as the "mom" of YC corroborates the Gawker piece in my mind.

There was an insurrection a couple of years ago because people raised on too much TV got riled up by the Internet on their phones. TV and phones are a destructive force (regardless of political affiliation).
