Chișinău (Moldova). One of the best internet connections in Europe, lots of outsource companies have offices here. Living is probably one of the cheapest in Europe. Welcoming people, a developing country that's moving toward the European Union.
I'm an undergraduate student pretty much in the same place where you are - good knowledge of WordPress, HTML&CSS, need to learn JavaScript. I'm at a European university right now and from my experience - what they teach you there barely touches reality, it's a lot of theory, very unpractical.
Really considering dropping out, at least until I really feel the urge to come back. If I find out later that it was a good idea not to drop out - good. If I see that the UNI knowledge is vital for a successful career prospect - even better, I'll come back motivated to learn.
I think it would be wise to take a year off after high school. I wish I did. Most of your college time will be a waste of time unless you know what you want to do in life, and then focus on that in college. Otherwise you are aiming blind for 3-4 years without ever trying life "out-of-the-system".
