Recently it's failed to find functions by verbatim search name within single project searches. I am pretty sure it used to function better than this.

The bank was nearly fully capitalized with low risk investments. Everyone would have gotten their money back anyways, it would have just taken 5-10 years.

Imagine what would happen if startups could not access their capital? By the time funds were available for withdrawal, the businesses would be dead. The regulators then have to track every funder to every dollar to return money. It would take a decade for this to happen.

I didn't see catch this part, but having 10 notes over 4 octaves is not out of the question. If all of those notes are rhythmic, that could be a challenge. All of the fairly wide chords I saw could be played either with sustain or could be easily substituted with spread chords.

Pop pianists don't usually play what's exactly on the page.

Hopefully not too off topic. How do people monitor these BGP announcements? Is it possible for laymen to monitor such route rules?

Question. From my experience, GitHub uses the `github-amo` bot to fetch the data when the page is rendered. How did you prevent it from cacheing on GitHub's servers?

Wake up with the sun or when I am rested.

Eat eggs or whatever I have around with a lot of milk and a cup of coffee.

Take a shower.

Read until I don't want to anymore.

Go to work until I am hungry.

Eat something, usually around 1pm.

Take a walk.

Work a little more.

Go somewhere to play music or sit with friends.

Shower.

Go to bed when I'm tired.

The U.S. economy is one of the most stable in the world, and certainly the most stable of any major world power. In fact, many economies are directly tied to the value of the dollar directly or indirectly. A lot of foreign investors are simply trying to put their money in US assets. Most conservatively in treasuries, least conservatively in the stock market. Housing falls somewhere in between.

To these investors, the fundamentals of the housing market don't apply as rigidly.

Chinese leverage is high and their economy is trending down. They have to contract into slightly more conservative positions. And afaik, they were the world wide cause of inflationary real-estate.

I would suspect that US markets are less to blame than foreign economies showing signs of contracting. In any case, it's good for American's.

It's insane to me that our ability to buy homes is so adversely affected by foreign investment.

I suppose my in my life I have found people with ~20 months of real-world experience who write books about technical topics in domains which are well understood... are kind of problematic.

Sure, sending out your experts with 5+ years experience in a specific field is great evangelism. But that's not what's being discussed here.

Good point, if true.

'I pointed out that I was publishing a book with O'Reilly, speaking at major tech conferences, and doing all of the things that you're supposed to do to have an "upward career trajectory", but they said it didn't matter and I needed to prove myself as an engineer.'

Maybe that's why she didn't get a promotion. Personally, I have had colleagues attempt similar things. When they embark on these external endeavors they have significantly reduced quality work in their primary job.

Obviously I don't know this author and I don't work at Uber.
