Yeah, I’m attempting to “solve” this with WriteTrack.dev as I think it’s the only reasonable approach we have going forwards.

The feature scores are from a paper cited on the site. The ranking features are proprietary to dissuade gaming but are a blend of open public data across a number of different sources.

Currently #5 on gdb-engines.com - definitely worth a look.

I find it funny that all of these little tools lean into the slop = poop dynamic.

I'm building writetrack.dev - a writing signal sdk that helps folks understand proof of process. It takes a different approach to writing analysis and I'm pretty sure the logo will never feature a brown turd.

I prefer this mapping from Nikita @ CosmoGraph: https://run.cosmograph.app/public/dfb673fc-bdb9-4713-a6d6-20...

Yes, I have the "embedded" kind in there but a dedicated column would be nice. Thanks!

I was inspired by https://arxiv.org/abs/2505.24758 and collated their assessment into a table and then just kept adding databases :)

Claude helped a lot but it's all reviewed and curated by me.

Serious answer: limiting to just Open Source: JanusGraph, DGraph, Apache AGE, HugeGraph, MemGraph and ArcadeDB all meet that criteria.

Overwhelmed by the sheer number of graph databases? I released a new site this week that lists and categorises them. https://gdb-engines.com

Very impressive blogpost. No wonder it took 6 months. Makes me think I need to step up the game with my photo ASCII art compositor, printscii.com
