Pay down all debt. Cut down on expenses. Sell most of your possessions. Invest in stocks/crypto. Take a few months rest without any digital obligations and reset your health. Good luck.
Def. not an expert and from what I gathered, it's a lifelong effort. But for me, it takes a few min just to concentrate on the breath and remind myself to observe my thoughts, emotions as separate from my self-awareness. So maybe try extending your sessions to 20-30 min before/after sleeping?
Try meditation. It is literally meant to quiet ego-based thinking. Maybe it will help you approach problems with clarity after.
For me, the concepts "feedback loop from hell" and "expecting a positive is a negative" from the book "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" were gamechangers.
Not really feature specific, but I've thought about this issue for a long time now. I personally want to move a central application where location of user data can be chosen (s3, dropbox, etc). Mildly considering building an opinionated app for myself and open-source for devs, and paid for non-technical people.
IMO, paper/pencil is great for spontaneous unrestricted flow and manual transcription has shown to be better for synthesis than typing. But the advantages of digital in terms of persistence and accessibility is just too great.
For me, the biggest issue of productivity apps is they don't distinguish between "timeful" data (tied to dates like deadlines or calendar events) and "timeless" data that are more for recall and knowledge store. That's why our tooling is fragmented between todos, calendars, storage, and editors (sheets, docs, etc).
A prediction/promise competition to increase accountability in general.
Politicians/companies spew words and we tend to accept them bc they're "authorities." I believe the best way to increase "skin in the game", accountability, and humble expertise is to predict and have your predictive performance be visible.
There's prediction markets to trade real money with but none that I've seen that ranks your performance against others.
I'm building a platform where it's free to enter/submit predictions in categories of interest. Top ranked players will receive prizes.
I think once players can measure themselves against "authorities" (whose public predictions will be scraped), both will become more accountable.
After predictions, I aim to work on "promises" since they both increase future skin in the game.

I think it's healthy to pursue goals and improve your life situation. But don't let it become your identity or expect lasting peace from it.
