I don't think this is the case? We were looking to add React Router (to add client side routing). And the only way that seemed achievable was by hacking around (https://dev.to/toomuchdesign/next-js-react-router-2kl8)
Work on your mental health first. Changing careers itself is stressful. Your code doesn't have to be pretty, you can use it as fuel for a hobby you actually enjoy doing after work/weekends. It could be photography, plastic model building, racing cars at track days, tennis, golf, etc.
The key there is also to join the communities to engage and learn, along with getting outside.
Medium format cameras will still have bigger lenses compared to FF, regardless of the body size, due to the sensor size. This usually the show stopper, since lots of people have had FF DSLRs with the extra battery holder, etc.
