I guess I should have made clear that I don’t have much experience with macOS, but I stand by them being useless on iOS.

Last time I tried developing a PWA-first app on iOS it was horrible. Users couldn’t figure out how to install it, notifications, workers, haptics, etc had all sorts of arbitrary restrictions.

I’ve always thought it funny how PWAs were pushed by Apple of all people in the beginning. Nowadays they might as well not exists for iOS/macOS

Didn’t they buy Anonym exactly to enter the ads space? Why partner with an entirely different company?

Also, I still remember removing that promise to never sell my data, Mozilla.

Mozilla must have done enough market research to deem this worthwhile, but, anecdotally, I’ve never seen a single person using browser profiles, myself included.

AI? Maybe. LLMs? Definitely no.

Everyday I feel like the conflation of these two terms gets more and more interlinked, and it shouldn’t.

I learned about this project from Theo (T3 guy), and his approval of it, make of that what you will.

Not 100% related but I found it funny that on that specific video, in which he spends the best part of 40 minutes talking about how the only browsers that are worth talking about are ones which "improve" your browsing experience beyond Chrome, which is the de facto "decent" browser. He mentions Zen and Vivaldi as examples.

He then finishes the video gushing about how he loves helium, which is just ungoogled-chromium lol

When you frame it that way, it almost brings the study's findings into question!

I wonder if it was truly a flaw or if it was a calculated omission.
