>But on the other hand, I hadn't logged in in nearly a decade!

This is the cause. With a long dormant account, facebook has no real content to show you. Your friends will almost all be dormant as well, even the facebook pages and groups you were part of are likely to have fallen silent. Facebook will feed you directly from the slop firehose rather than show you a blank feed.

>user: claude password: claude2026!

>user: claude password: claude123

I wonder if these have come from leaks or if someone has a script that generates the top ~xx most likely passwords based off the username.

It's everything mentioned that's then filterable via tags, there's a joe-recommended tag for books that are directly recommended by one of the cohosts.

All ads are searchable. They found the exact words and phrases that regulators used and then made sure those were clean.

>As a result, Meta decided to take the tactic global, performing similar analyses to assess “scam discoverability” in other countries. “We have built a vast keyword list by country that is meant to mimic what regulators may search for,” one document states. Another described the work as changing the “prevalence perception” of scams on Facebook and Instagram.

I remember a comment on here years ago from someone in GCP who mentioned that they did not control the "Cloud" namespace. So any VP could launch a new project and call it cloud something and make people very confused about why it wasn't showing up in the cloud dashboard and API.

If you ask the Adobe stock image generation for "Adventurer with a whip and hat portrait view , Brown leather hat, jacket, close-up"

It gives you an image of Harrison Ford dressed like Indiana Jones.

Step one: no engineering education, just get a job that a company calls engineering.

Speaking of sustained scraping for AI services, I found a strange file on your site: https://book.sv/robots.txt. Would you be able to explain the intent behind it?

The article makes it clear that Common Crawl is ignoring copyright take down requests, and only modified it's search engine to fake having taken down content.

They also need to know where in the app the code for each service is displayed, so they are grabbing the code for your bank and not for your World of Warcraft account.

China permitted/sponsored rebels to seize a decent chunk of the Myanmar side of the Chinese/Myanmar border after a number of Chinese citizens (allegedly including some undercover Chinese police) were killed in a scam compound there.

I'm glad to see you use "most of this war", acknowledging that Israel has at times totally blockaded all food and medicine from Gaza (and not for logistic or military reasons, but as a pure pressure tactic as stated by Israeli officials).

And it's true, Israel is not required to accept aid from other countries for Gaza. They could instead provide the full required resources for civilians in the occupied areas themselves.

The Israeli government in March of this year. And it wasn't a suggestion, it was an implemented policy.

It's pretty disappointing that the author (writing in 2025) says "perhaps to maintain its status as the world’s largest botnet operator," and links to a Spamhaus report from Q1 of 2020.[0]

If you check the most recent version of the report from Spamhaus (Jan to June 2025)[1], Cloudflare is nowhere to be seen, and Digital Ocean, who they recommend as a Cloudflare alternative is listed as third largest botnet host in the world.

Looking back through the historical reports this isn't a new phenomenon, in Q4 of 2022 Digital Ocean was ranked #2 and Cloudflare was down at #17.

>At the early stages of TikTok there was some controversy that diverse, disabled, marginalized etc people were being underrepresented compared to other platforms and we now see how that turned out.

The controversy was that they were being actively suppressed as a moderation decision.
