Why don't you use IMDb?

One personal Mac I use daily.

One work laptop, also a Mac.

One iPad I basically never use.

One ChromeBook I literally never use, think it has a broken screen.

This is how many (most?) teams develop at...Amazon. It definitely scales to large teams and large (1000TPS) projects.

Aww I really miss Aaron. I used to be angry but now I'm just sad.

Do you have any responsibilities? Take that 20k and go traveling. Note this may or may not be good advice.

Well it's not Amazon. I genuinely feel that we've got a great doc writing culture.

We obviously write a ton of docs but only when we need to. Personally I code 60% of the time as an IC L5 (software engineer)

Not surprised. I work at a different FANG and we literally have the Scunthorpe problem.

Scuba Diving - it's great, everyone should try it. Although it's fairly expensive as hobbies go.

Equalise early and often!

Given how many people browse HN at work it would be super skewed.

>Using the right browser - only use Microsoft Edge PEACH is compatible with Microsoft Edge, but only when Internet Explorer mode is enabled. For guidance on setting up Internet Explorer mode in Edge, follow this link to instructions on the Microsoft Support Page.

Yeah, there's still some way to go.

Out of curiosity what job did you have that required you to fly 100s of times a year for a decade (assuming you're not in the aviation industry).

Edit; never mind, I looked at your profile.

I'm one one of a small number of people at my FANNG company that can work on a legacy MM LoC Perl project.

Many of them are much smarter than me, but I think my insight which I remember getting around 6 months in is that it's just code, in many places hard to read/follow, but it will ultimately just do a logical set of instructions.
