Interesting read, thanks for sharing! I've had a lot of these thoughts and questions myself, and it's helpful reading someone else's thoughts and having them lay their thoughts on this topic in a very cohesive article

Do you think they'll do it manually or just not allow their pages to be indexed? That doesn't seem like something a publisher would want to do / happen as I'm sure a lot of their traffic comes from search.

For sites that this and other methods don't work on like NYTimes, WSJ, and WaPo, I use Incoggo (https://www.incoggo.com). I saw them on HN a few weeks ago and haven't really had issues. They're only out on Mac though.

Oh man, this website brings me back to my childhood. I remember in elementary school using this site with my classmates. Good times

I third Huberman Lab podcast - he has a lot of great content. His recent one about ADHD was really interesting!

I also like doing this and I'll try to focus on what I'm seeing during my walk which helps my brain not to wander worrying about work or other stressors but it allows me to be in the moment.

I'm really curious how long it'll actually take for the metaverse concept to be adopted by the general public. They say that it'll take 5-10 years before the first fleshed out Meta product to release, how long will adoption take?

Ahh, I remember when I tried out the Amazon Fire phone - what a disappointment it was. I wonder if (or when) Amazon will try to make another phone.

I wonder if the last part on her resume about most Vodka shots would actually fly on a real resume

I'm going to make the assumption that you haven't yet identified people you would like to mentor you, in which case I'd start there.

How I've personally done it is by first determining what kind of advice/skills I am trying to get better at. For instance, if my company is in B2B and sales is not my strong suit, finding a mentor in a similar space that I'm in but has at least 5-10 more years of experience than I do has been incredibly helpful.

For you, as someone who's a solopreneur, I reckon that it would probably be very useful for you to find other successful solopreneurs, starting to find someone maybe 2-5 years out from where you are now, and then working your way up to someone with more success and experience.

Once you've identified such people, there are different ways of trying to approach these people, depending on how difficult they are to reach. Some ways that have worked for me are to get connected with someone via an intro from a trusted friend, family member, professor or mentor. Other times, I've reached out to them directly telling them why I was interested in connecting with them and seeing if there are ways I can provide value to them. This approach may take more time, but this many people are likely busy and not able to help until they trust you. Hope that's helpful!

I'm glad I came across this as I was considering whether or not a boot camp would make sense for me. I'm not turned off against it, but this is a good data point for me to consider.
