Hello, I'm a full stack product engineer with over 25 years experience building apps on the web. I'm highly proficient in Node.js, JavaScript / TypeScript and PHP. I've contributed to a lot open source projects including but not limited to, Laravel, Vite, Tailwind, Alpine.js and Dokku. I know React, Vue and Angular like the back of my hand and can hit the ground running quickly in Next.js, Remix, Astro and Nuxt. Htmx CEO too, btw.

So quick question, why do you get to claim something without data but others have to back up their claims with data?

Anyway, I can't find anything that is specifically about the US in 2023 (so far) that isn't requiring a payment for a large sum, but everything else I found seems to back up the claims by everyone else.

Most of them don't even include iMessage in the top 10, and the one that does has it in like 8th place with one caveat, facetime itself is 2nd to Facebook Messenger which absolutely dominated the list.

This just in, teen prefers to message with friends via Discord, but uses iMessage to message parents who are also on iMessage and not discord. We must file an anti-trust lawsuit against Apple, stat!

Yep, this is an unpopular HN opinion, but I actually like Apple's walled garden. It's safe, it's friendly and I don't have to worry.

This. I'm imagining having my triple 27-inch 4K displays on the go with my MacBook while also being compact and fit into my computer bag.

$3500 for that? I'm game. I paid more than that for my home desk and just the ability of having a massive display at my disposal on the go makes that price tag look no brainer.
