I worked on a small company similar to what you just described now. We were a group of 15 people inside a Microsoft license seller in South America. But our job was actually related to get those public bids for web systems to help their government processes. If I wasn't being paid close to minimum wage it'd be the best job. The deadlines were almost non existent, the people were nice, even our clients inside the government were very cool to chat with. The company went bankrupt because some scandals and it had to change to something else so I went to another place. But it's a really cool concept that also can be very profitable. 3 medium size projects of that type and I could retire in a few years.

Not a fan of their ads too, but once Linus said that he prefer to take this wildly disconnected ads than to do something related to tech, because it's less risky. They can easily recommend a impermeable pair of shoes but not a specific gpu brand or something like this.

I thought that were something wrong with me because the ranking is reversed compared with my taste but it seems that most people here are angry too. Well, I'll keep my Fuji apples then.

I love the title. I like to ask for pull requests with this exact description to influence my coleagues to look at it faster when it's something small like a single character. For example, when it's a two character PR I say "hey, the second smallest pr in the world". Guess I was wrong!

I worked on a business that lived of selling Microsoft licenses like Office and the Windows Server version. They also came with this idea of creating apps but for Windows Phone. There was some people uploading more than 100 apps to the store with things like recipes, free books, mini games, etc. They distributed a few Windows Phones as prizes. It was very weird and I don't know who came up with the idea.
