Gov't historical offices are wildly underrated. Insanely comprehensive publications for free. Not as many as State Department's Foreign Relations of the United States series, but the volume on Harold Brown is great for anyone thinking on defense tech.

Where in Vernon Triangle? There's a big gradient between its eastern and western half. The western part, closer to downtown, has lots of restaurants and shopping, but it can feel a little dead further east. In general, an office-y vibe, not much green space.

I thought I was alone in this. Something about the scratch of pencil on paper always bothered me; I had to use the softest graphite possible to not go crazy.

There haven't been many photos out there of Russian warheads, especially Schlieren shots. Look at that turbulent boundary layer (the layer of air immediately near the warhead surface).
