Thanks for your reply! I played around with Monogame[0] in the past and I absolutely loved the "code first" approach. I will definitely try out NasNas.
I meant a comparison in terms of goals, ergonomics, etc. Whatever this new framework is trying to do differently. IIRC, Godot also started as a one-man show.
It's run by an ex EA software developer.
However, his videos are mostly about C++ and game engine development.
I'm not a game developer but I found his explanations of advanced C++ topics quite good.

I don't think so. I don't think the problem here is companies struggling to find the right people.
It seems to me that companies have slashed hiring. There are too few regular job positions and too many people seeking them.
I'm curious as to which plugins you have used to have that impression. My plugin experience with VS Code has been generally great. Far better than any Jetbrains product I've used, I dare say.
