Readwise reader, mostly for ebooks and PDFs, which makes the most of my reading other than papers or blog posts, for which I use readwise as well.

It integrates really well with Obsidian, so all of my highlights are directly put into my second brain.

I'd love to find a FOSS alternative though

Most recently Obsidian with PARA method.

Obsidian isn't open source unfortunately, but I'd guess you could achieve a very similar setup with logseq.

I'm planning on migrating to org-roam though

+1 for the Phoenix Project, but to my demise, when I first read it I looked at Erik and was like: "wow, I want to be this guy" and that was not the best idea.

Have you read the Unicorn Project btw?

Beat your head against the wall multiple times until it clicks.

IMHO - the best way to learn anything is to just sit and hack away, if you wanna get up quickly - read through the docs, make sure you understand the concepts and then grab k3s (or run k3d locally in docker) and deploy something to it. WordPress is a good start.

Take a look at: roadmap.sh/kubernetes If you wanna go all in: https://github.com/kelseyhightower/kubernetes-the-hard-way

Oh, and both: "Kubernetes up and Running" and "Production Kubernetes" are great books.
