Now go tell me which one of those is C++, you know, this thing that is about to adopt every single concept in our universe :)

When you start naming text and people "content" on webpages that you need to "consume" as efficiently as possible, you should know that it's time to go outside and touch grass.

Changing it back is a change by itself, genius.

You can already call most things "content" without a whiff of irony. Just look at youtube. "Content creators", you think they're misusing the words? No they're being 100% genuine to you what their intention is.

Also, here's a good website in general for this kind of stuff, thank you Stallman: https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.en.html#Conten...

You can always contribute by crawling ipv4 range searching for http servers that don't necessarily have a domain pointing at them and posting a list for us when you're done crawling it merely once :)

Just a wild guess based on past 2 years, but probably outside.

Why does it matter?

You love seafood, so just literally run grep on the entire page and if it contains the word then include it as a correct.

In reality, you will miss a lot of real seafood pages because they don't really need to mention "seafood" and context matters, so what? Chances are that that one website where person randomly added "I love seafood" to the top of the page will be the only page that you've ever wanted to see anyway.

There's too much data for you to go through in entire life in any case, so why worry about it as long as you can get something that's good enough? You will never get best data, if it was possible, google would be giving you best data already.

How do I know? Well, looking up my real name shows where I grew up, what school I went to, graduated, and even which exam I scored 100 on... And even some places I used to work for in the past, and while that part is going to make most people paranoid, I wish ALL results were as detailed as this one, but there's little you can do.

It cannot be gamed. You wrote your own search engine, you wrote your own filters, you know how it works and noone else.

Whitelists that I wrote by hand also don't introduce new unexpected entries by the way :)

This instead could be more like RSS where as your crawler gets new sites, you get updates on new things, and you could filter in your crawler or in RSS client directly, doesn't matter.

Who stops people from running their own search engines?

As if you cannot look up address range of your own country then crawl your whole country for websites that may be hosted by people living locally.

As if you cannot do the same with a foreign country that interests you.

Maybe you could even find a list that only shows residential IP's so you're sure to be only finding webservers ran by individuals and not corporations.

And if somehow "port scanning" by trying to send a http request to a residential IP is illegal in your dystopian country, you can always start by scraping the site that you're interested in, there will always be at least one more link to another domain somewhere.

For large scale servers python is shit, but that doesn't mean that you cannot spend few weekends writing your own python crawler for your needs, which is so easy that you don't need to be a programmer to do it, and if you really care about this at all, a bit of a startup hurdle won't make you immediately disinterested.

And if it really does, there's always options like https://yacy.net/

You should see these things more like real life. If you wanted to know more about your own neighbourhood, what better way is there than to go outside and walk around your neighbourhood and see things with your own eyes?

Maybe that's just my opinion, but status quo is noone's but your own fault, because I never had this problem.

"Sleep" has a loose definition and going by the least restrictive one, I cannot go without sleep for more than 18 hours. My brain just stops working.

I've been "awake" for 42 hours before, but the the second day was probably the least productive one out of my entire life, and I don't even remember it at all, it's like it never happened.

What?

Why would I trust "br3f" with "sensitive URL"? Why would it be accessible by anyone or from anywhere to begin with? And most importantly, why would I put it in email which is literally the least secure form of communication?

How about harvesting water from the oceans? Novel idea I know.

I wonder what situation in Africa would be like if nuclear reactors were built to be cooled on seawater and excess steam was collected as semi-clean water that is a lot easier to purify already. And these useless solar power plants were replaced with solar-based water purification facilities. Wells exist too... Water is literally everywhere, the only problem is how deep you need to dig.

And it's not like I am making this up, nuclear power plants were proven to be suitable for desalination, and there's no issue with water evaporation in the middle of the desert, is there?

Africa was colonized once, it can be colonized again. It could be a central hub of power and water generation that sells it to the entire world, and noone likes Russia anyway. On top of that, this would naturally create jobs.

I really wonder where this "$133.7 billion each year from official aid, grants, loans to the private sector, remittances, etc." gets spent considering that what I proposed doesn't cost that much and could be integrated gradually over many years, throughout which there's "$133.7 billion" every single year, just think for a moment how much money is that. Most expensive part of this would be building a seawater pipeline to the suitable location, so what? I guess noone wants to do it because it's not going to move oil...

Yeah and chocolate straight up kills dogs, so what's your point?

I don't see anyone shilling against coffee which is literally a drug like alcohol and tobacco however.

Same people who want me to avoid sugar also want me to not use butter and instead use v*getable oils for cooking so I'm not sure why their opinion matters.

From all these meme studies, the only thing that I've learned is that you can take an obese landwhale, feed them whatever you dislike, and observe the complications totally caused by the thing you gave them and not the fact that they cannot physically move without a motorized 4 wheeled scooter which in fact has nothing to do with the type of food you eat.

My issue with this non-study is that it doesn't look like they forced sugar-drinking rats to work harder than rats that didn't gain those extra calories, nor did they mention any weight changes whatsoever. Why do I care? Because it has been proven that obesity can in fact cause brain damage. From cholesterol clogging your arteries and killing braincells that way to other random inflammations, this is the main way to turn into a vegetable. As if I need to tell you that obesity and retardation is literally inseparable. Of course, there are studies that "prove" that obesity doesn't lead to lower intelligence, but I wonder how did they test this considering your intelligence has to be low to become obese in the first place.

It helps everyone and always. Don't believe me? Go program with it completely turned off for a month.

If you can suffer that long without switching back prematurely, maybe you're built different, and that's good for you, but noone I know could last that long.

I wonder why noone simply vandalizes it.

It would be funny if someone with an angle grinder came to the public bench and cut off the "arm rests" that you can't even rest your arm on because their only purpose is to prevent homeless from sleeping on a bench that literally noone uses at night anyway.
