1) Do NOT use your company provided gadgets / facilities - laptop, mobile etc to accomplish any of your personal / startup task.
2) Do NOT use company/office hours to work on your side projects.
3) Most companies do not mind their employees taking up side gigs unless it affects productivity or a competitor is involved. Talk to your manager.
