It's an open and documented standard. There are open source implementation.

I can already generate a QR code that proofs my age anonymously. It's signed by the goverment. There are libraries to check the QR code. No extra device needed.

At the very least I would expect them to support eID for everyone who can and doesn't want their 3rd party. Also much better than take a video of plastic card.

Exactly this. I can only upvote you once, but this is one article that should answer all the questions. Not just the simple origin case, but also how a preflight works.

Cars are only safer in a crash if you are inside the car. They are a big problem for anyone they crash into. That's why it's so very important that you see and hear everything happening around you. Why should the once with more mass and speed have the luxury of listening to music?

If that's illegal than cars with closed windows would be illegal too. Even more so if they have the radio on. As a cyclist I keep having issues with car drivers not hearing anything happening outside of their vehicle (not a bell, not yelling, not a bicycle hooter). That's like wearing headphones or earplugs and still is considered normal. I'd love if everyone would be required to drive a cabrio.

Just tried it out. The data download option in your account settings gives you the full resolution. You need no plan whatsoever.

It's all about YAGNI. Programmers try to be smart covering cases no one thought about, reviewer is happy that corner cases have been implemented, artificial tests report all good. But it's just more to read when you have to change the code.

That's still going to make it hard to read. I'd have one big comment above talking about the different cases and then one line of code. Even with the slightly higher risk of getting code and comment out of sync. But that context switch between code and comments you need when you read this one return are pretty awful.

I actually have a couple of Dockerfiles that are using exactly this in the HEALTHCHECK. Less packages to install.

I still remember that you could slow down animations in OS X - I think with the shift key. Steve Jobs even did it in presentations because they looked so gorgeous in slowmo. If we‘d still have that I‘m sure they would care more about that every frame.

AI is able to read input from AI. Humans are able to read input from humans. Also AI is pretty good in reading input from humans. So we don't really need AI -> AI. Just output for humans and you are fine. You can still attach details and this is true for both AI and humans. So human output should be the goal for everyone and everything.

Yes of course. But then they wouldn’t be the first to create APIs, SDKs or CLIs as an enabler, because of AI. Which is why I‘m even more happy that it isn’t just a MCP.

Yes Schwung is now the best. There is also the extending-move repo on github which has some documentation in the wiki. From time to time I look into the Abelton move reddit.

The have it buried in the FAQ, but that's pretty much the interface for AI. And a really good one. You can use it with just your old human intelligence, but then you can also get help if coding isn't your thing.

Biggest issue with having something so easy to work with is the huge amount of extensions we will be getting, which makes it harder to find the jewels.

Also wondering if we will get extensions for Abelton Move as well. There are already a couple of hacks that are adding functions that are running as a sidecar. This could give them an official API.

NOYB is working on it. I think for derstandard.at it was already declared illegally with the prices they have, but it’s still ongoing.

I like to call that a mafia tactic as the framing is normally „it would be a shame if we have to sell your personal data“.

Automattic, the company behind Wordpress, is so proud of they way they are working and the clear process for interviews. They invite you to a Slack channel, you get information before hand so you know exactly what they are looking for.

When I interviewed with them I've already worked with PHP for 20 years, even working on the Zend Framework, experiences in Javascript, HTML and CSS, leading projects for the longest time. But the interviewer I had seemed not to be interested very much. Shortly after the interview they threw me out of the channel, so I couldn't get to the information they shared yet they told me "Come back in a year when you are more experienced". Experienced in what? Well they never answered.

Of all interviews I had during that time they were the worst. Not really human. They saying "Automatticians are curious, driven, compassionate, tenacious, autonomous, friendly, independent, collaborative, communicative, supportive, self-motivated, and amazing with GIFs." I haven't even seen them posting a GIF.

And if you look at the bar chart you'll see 69 is almost never picked, while 67 is almost as often as 42. The whole research might be written by AI without any human review.

But Star Wars isn't from the future. Does that mean there is a time loop in fonts?

Just stop calling everyone a software engineer. You can be a script kiddie, coder, developer - but all of those are not engineers. Engineering is much more than just writing the code. There is a reason why you can earn a degree in engineering - not saying a degree is automatically making you an engineer or that it's even needed.
