I know we're not great at generalized scent sensors yet, and even sensors designed for a particular scent are fickle. That said, I have to believe that we can do this in a better way than developing a system to confine, train, and deploy bees as sensor arrays.
This is fantastic - absolutely the most satisfying method of interaction with an app that I've experienced in a long time. Expand the gesture set to include skip forward/back and it's a winning consumer app. Personally, I'd love (and would pay for) a library allowing me to add gesture control to my own apps.
Hamilton is awesome. I don't know Nikhil, but I can say that dinner with Hamilton will be full of great insights on people, products, business, and your ideas. He's an awesome guy, and I'd be grabbing this meal if I was down in LA!
This is really cool. The closer-to-human aspect is great, and the graphics approach is definitely interesting. I love the idea of an AI whose difficulty could be largely tuned by implementing a max APS.
Added the code to my (long) list of things to read!
Really well executed. Simple, clean, elegant. This was a lot of fun to set up the first time! I know it's the mvp but I wanted quantity support on listings & adding to cart, and I immediately missed the ability to define a per-item shipping cost separately from the price of the item (keeps perceived pricing lower). Great first pass, and with a little polish could be a pretty excellent tool.
