Using instagram in a browser (e.g. firefox as it allows for extension on phone) and then installing an extension like control for instagram or hide reels works great, even better to set the https://www.instagram.com/?variant=following as your main page to enter (or is that only available in europe?). Allows to use instagram as old school social media instead of a scrolling app

These were likely all AI generated, or at least the alternatives were. I made an app a while ago as well, and afterwards realized AI often wanted to make a very covering answer for the correct one, making it often longer than the others, thus defeating the idea of the quiz in the process.

I think everyone can get the card, though maybe you need a dutch address to sent it to.

You can disable suggestions and still subscribe to channels, I'd argue that's the easiest path while still keeping what you're actually interested in. If you have 200+ subscribed channels over the years it's less good, I'd just unscribe if you're not interested in it.

I feel like one city is enough focus to actually get good results. If you plan a trip where you move between different (smaller) places problems start to arise

Which usually means until the financial incentives to remove the data outweigh the incentives to keep the data. Data is more valuable than database storage costs, thus there is no incentive to remove the data. Policies should therefore be in place to punish unnecesary data retention.

What are the biggest differences between this and going into your google settings to disable history/recommendations? I personally feel like that works well, on all platforms and removes shorts as well.

I feel like there's always a demand for the very best models, even at insane prices. If the opportunity cost is x times opus, maybe few but there will always be companies willing to pay x+1 times opus.

Instagram (at least in europe) already provides this feature as they have to. Problem is you need to specifically adjust your feed every time you open the app, which makes it kind of useless against the addictive nature of it.

I'd say most people don't though, and those people might be more influential to advertisements anyways so it's a net win for them.

While some people got it to work better, for me vibe coding games still didn't reach the point of regular sites/web apps. Physics, creativity, assets and UI/UX still need a lot of hand handholding with the models. Games that are more interface based like point and click or something like reigns are easier though

Did you try the same with gemini 3 models? Those usually score higher on vision benchmarks

There's a huge difference between local apps that cost one time 3-10$ and apps that ask for a subscription between 5 to 20$ per month. the first category will remain and might become more popular as quality increases, the second category will be oblitereated as the value isn't there, even if all the buyers are rich. The second group takes up a much larger part of the pie than the first though, so apple's revenue will decrease.
