Well dynamic pricing only ever works until you have a power outage in the winter and suddenly you pay a years worth of money for the 1 hour you could use your fridge, during a snowstorm.
Still remember that dna data was saved and edited inside of excel and somehow those huge strings of data were randomly false in part, because of automatic data conversion to arbitrary data formats.
Terrible is the following: Syncing performance. It either doesn't or far too late.
Although the blank canvas is great, if you want to just add something onto my notes i have to select a specific space instead of just appending at the end.
But yes all that supported stuff is great, but man those things at the top. Dealbreakers.
I would find it interesting to see some old server hardware phased out and maybe purchase it for my home- office/lab. But I don't really know what to look out for, except for the gen4 hardware from 2017.
We party of Merkel is great for "stability". But this stability also means everything bad will stay bad and stuff like policing lobbyism is not a priority for those politicians, because they are good enough to hide it and profit from it so much, that they don't want it to change at all.
Worse, we even have one party FDP which is really small, but openly pushes against policing lobbyism and they are the second or third largest benefactor of huge lobby donations.
The powerful want to stay powerful. If you ask the normal citizen they would want things to change at least to make everything more right.
The third point is also quite critical. The biggest industry in Germany is car manufacturing. And because of this every change here might disrupt millions of people, potential voters, and harm the industry. The reason germany did not come up with a great Tesla competitor or even Tesla itself is because of that. Everything moves so slow in these companies, they depend on so many other companies to get you some part of your car and then in the end assemble it all, that any change will disrupt too much and gets killed before it can bud.
Did the same. Was just not worth the risk of waiting until an issue gets fixed. Or if it even gets fixed.
I mean even in GTA 5 working perfectly, the overlay always had an issue of a missing mouse pointer.
Also Microsoft Store bought games do not work on Linux.
Well and in the end i just want to play my games.
And if i want to start modding, don't get me started on the hoops you have to jump through just to get a modded Skyrim with everything installed how you like it.
Samsung only had used a gpl version of exfat (mainly for android) and was forced to open source it, (or someone just did, although they did not want to admit it was gpl). This lead to development of a fuse module for linux. Which can be installed. I myself never had luck using it.
You had to add it as a fuse module. I don't know if a user compiled kernel module worked. But still even if it was used as a fuse module i myself had often times problems with it. So i hope this goes away soon.
The only Good Thing about German Internet access is the FRITZ!Box.
Best basic Internet Router with minimal required setup.
Still missing some things, but they do their job much better than what any provider can give you (or they are rebranding the FRITZ!Box itself)
Sorry but your setup seems to be outragouesly unique. Often times you have either cable or dsl. But not both. Also what
about your upload speeds? probably only 20MBit/s or 40 max.
I dream of a land with 10Gbit symmatrical networking for an affordable price. It would be future proof. I could role my own server. Heck i could probably start a cloud business and scale up if i wanted to somehow by buying more fiber lines.
It is so bad that one German Minister does not take a call anymore, if he is driving on the Autobahn. Because it would be too embarassing to redial again and again because the call will drop. Not might. It will!
Well german telecom tried to introduce caps into internet plans ~5 years ago at around 200GB. But that caused so much outrage, that they rolled back on that decision and ultimately you only get a cap on the cheapest of providers.
I mean try downloading GTA5 and Red Dead Redemption for PS4/PC, and you have already used up your datacap.
Mobile Plans are so expensive, because we germans auction away the licenses for the Frequencies for billions.
