It's more than that. Look no further than this forum to find people who revel in thwarting any progress on issues that are vital to our very existence.

These people are traitors to humanity and need to be stopped at whatever cost.

There is zero evidence in the article for their hypothesis of "peer-state" actors putting up "balloons and drones" for intel purposes. It's not that! Keep guessing...

I did psychedelics for many years and nearly every day for well over a year. In total I have had at least 500-600 experiences with various psychedelics, especially mushrooms, LSD, 5-MeO-MiPT, 5-MeO-DMT, 2C-I and 2C-P.

I was addicted in some sense definitely, though apparently most people don't feel that way. I had to do tons of cocaine to stop my heaviest phase of psychedelic use and since then I have only used them occasionally over the years.

Which psychedelics?

I've pushed the limits with many tryptamines (at least 300-400 discrete experiences) and 15 years later my cognitive abilities are measurably excellent.

He usually bans people for using mean words.

If you express some completely heinous ideas in polite, mostly grammatical writing then normally you will not be banned. This is based on my experience of over a decade of various accounts and occasional banning on "Hacker" News.

"It’s pretty clear now that the broken windows theory applies to community sites as well. The theory is that minor forms of bad behavior encourage worse ones: that a neighborhood with lots of graffiti and broken windows becomes one where robberies occur. I was living in New York when Giuliani introduced the reforms that made the broken windows theory famous, and the transformation was miraculous. And I was a Reddit user when the opposite happened there, and the transformation was equally dramatic."

Paul Graham is such a tool.

Somebody should delete this dumpster fire of a website, perhaps a real "hacker" might take the initiative some day!

Because someone who created an account yesterday is no better or worse than anyone else.

I've been here for well over 10 years and this place has always been filled with complete buffoons and parasites.
