Age verification requires identity verification once — but it doesn't require revealing your identity ever to a third party. With FHE (fully homomorphic encryption), identity data is encrypted on your device and never leaves it in plaintext. Not to the merchant, not to us as the verification service — nobody. We only compute on encrypted data and return a yes/no. I'm building this at identified.app
There's https://refraction.network/ but I am not sure how feasible that is at the moment (or at all). I came across it when researching some TLS stuff in golang (programming language).
Here in the Netherlands there's a huge incentive to move to heatpumps (subsidies and whatnot). I believe most of those (if not all) that are being installed have a defrosting mode which is automatically activated. I have seen mine defrosting in the last few days since it's finally below zero (celsius).
For which I expect some of them to be charged with tax fraude or racketeering here in Holland. A lot of financial crimes, especially regarding taxes, are punished heavier than other crimes.
