Basically, I saw that this domain was available and saw the increasing talk of “flattening the curve” on Twitter. I grabbed it and wanted to do something helpful, like post just the pic of the tall and flat graph that was making the rounds, because I loved how simple the visual was, and how powerful the point it made. I thought at least people could share the concept easily.
But then someone shared Julie’s post, which was living on a gdoc at the time, and even that was struggling with the amount of readers... and was very much not an easily shareable link.
So I reached out and asked if she’d like to have it live at flattenthecurve.com, and promised to give her a login to update and add more info etc.
She said yes and I got the site live in half a day mostly spent reformatting the gdoc into WP.
I’m thrilled that the domain is really living up to its best use!
Why would someone choose the new MacBook Air over the 12" Macbook? I have the 12" (it's my everyday computer and I love it, not looking to switch) but wondering why choose one over the other, size of screen? Thanks.
1. I agree with this criticism of Neil Patel, and the things written about why SSL matters.
2. Neil Patel does not speak for all SEOs :) ...I've read several comments from other SEOs who strongly disagree with what he said.
3. JFC, people, stop linking to his site. Links are currency--it does not matter to him, big picture, if the link is framed by a sentence that says "this person is an idiot." Links only help increase his authority and ability to reach new people.
The SearchMetrics report is fantastic, using hard research to produce SEO insights. I've taken the very long report and broke it down into easily consumed pieces (but I still recommend reading through the original report sometime).
