I really appreciate you highlighting exactly how exceptionally flat Kansas is. I've never thought of a place as flat for Kansas, now I'll pay more attention when driving through it. I was already startled by how far horizons seem in Kansas.
I'm guessing since the map is price limited there are likely many more properties out west except they are higher priced? $800 for a small chunk of vacant land behind something industrial near what looks like a lonely highway exit somewhere inland California. Then the East half has lots of reasonable looking homes. I hope the people left behind and homeless are getting by.
The name is exciting to me. I've been a multiple time robot vacuum owner and it does have an appeal to be able to see a fresh build dissected like this. Why not contribute to this project instead of having a go all on my own, except of course with my AI helpers. I could pick the vacuum control board for the motors and sensors. I have some thoughts on brushes too.

I like how this blog is encouraging the sharing of conversations with AI. It is endlessly surprising to me how other people use AI. So often I think I would never have thought of that! But occasionally I say, Hey I did the same thing! With this read it was the travel itinerary, it's really helpful to find places to stop while driving.

The new chip sounds like it's vustom made to accelerate a few specific models they really need to run fast. The advantage is it's truly and ASIC, not a xPU. There are several new startups targeting EDA tooling automation, Chip Agents is the biggest one I can think of but their are smaller players too, Silimate is one I recall. These companies are focusing on building fast AI powered tools to speed up the tape out cycle.
The grant application process is wild now, half the questions I'm to respond to feel AI generated as well. I feel certain that the reviewers are just taking my responses and feeding them.into another AI to evaluate too.
The charts showing vitamin D not helping, but also slightly hurting make the topic more relevant. The title is almost too flippant of the conclusions which is don't just take more than necessary,because it's likely to actively cause harm not just slightly increase your vitamin D.
This makes me wonder why the AI economy is considered a bubble when we already did an advertising supported internet as a bubble. The whole ad supported internet seemed to have such low drivers of revenue to the advertisers (at least as far as I can tell without people clicking on ads), compared to today's success with AI subscriptions.
Might VR boxing be a possible alternative to actually being hit? I don't think our brains distinguish well between actually being hurt and feeling the stress of the game. For instance I used to study for tests while my husband played violent video games with loud sounds because all the screaming was stressful for me and so was actually taking the test. So the combination of studying under stress and taking the test under stress helped me retain the knowledge better.
Digging 4' deck footings or shoveling 3/4" clear stones all day? It sounds like a recipe for back injury, we should all figure out how to use technology to solve these problems for us instead. I do appreciate the sentiment though. Sometimes just doing it yourself is more satisfying than watching a machine work.
Trailer park in California. It's a prefab kit built accessory room. The main part of the trailer is normal, just this accessory room is built out of aluminum panels (about 3' x 9' per panel) and then plenty of single pane windows.
Maybe everyone here can help me. I bought a house with an accessory addon already built, but it's walls and roof are very cheap aluminum. It's a constant source of mold. I'm at the point where I want to demolish it and rebuild properly. Some contractors I've spoken with instead encourage me to just frame out inside the existing aluminum box and get double pane windows instead. I don't think that will solve the problem though, these cheap aluminum panels are so full of mold now how would putting fresh wood over the panels solve anything, in 4 years I'll just have more mold growing over the interior frame out if I don't demolish and rebuild the whole thing with proper moisture barriers on the exterior and underside of the accessory room.
