Was anyone else AMAZED that this article was NOT broken into 5 separate pages that you have to individually click through? The fact that this article was not obnoxiously split apart and overlaid with a popup each time was refreshing ( in a dystopian kind of way )...
Don't forget, this guy has the acting president's personal cellphone number on his mobile, so when it comes to friends in high places this seems like a smart call.
This is not the first time I've heard such claims. This article says nothing of results. These problems exist because they are hard to solve. So, while this sounds very promising, it does not say a lot about the progress that has been made. If that looks good then you've really got something...
That's fine. Its super easy to sue someone. I could sue Facebook for having boring ads. Will my case go to a trial that I have a remote chance of winning...? Not a chance. This is the same thing.
This is getting ridiculous. We're having full on conversations about what to name our already buzzword saturated offices. This studio is doing the same thing I've seen incubators do which is the same thing smart companies have always done. Provide good places for people to work hard.
It will never matter what you call the office as the terms are arbitrary. Find a place to work and then just work hard. Call it the immaculate teakettle house if you like, just make money while you do it. What is in a name, an office by any other name is still where I code.
I've studied Martial Arts for about 12 years. You're totally right. It takes years of training to learn how to properly throw a punch such that you harm your opponent and do not break your own hand.
I agree. The only proof you have that I am a conscience being is that you believe that to be so because I conduct myself as one. You can't really prove that I am or am not conscience. You can only observe that I act like a conscience being.
I think this guy might be confusing code with style. This is why I never ever let the interns not use braces. We built a style guide that is good at blocking these types of errors. Not to mention that Apple should have tested enough to catch that error... It is about the code, but maybe not in the way this guy thinks.
