You’d be surprised how poor broadband Internet coverage is outside of major metropolitan areas in the United States. Some places are simply off-grid, or have to rely on dial up. All you have to do is drive an hour out and there’s no more Internet.
Reminds me of the scene in Mad Men where Peggy complains about not being appreciated, and Don answers with "Thats' what the money is for!". I'm sure they're all being very well compensated for being treated like shit.
Absolutely love Lucifer and Tailgunner. Wouldn’t put them in the same category, but highly recommended for fans of Iron Maiden or anyone who listened to Deep Purple growing up.
Tell me something I haven’t heard before. People have been boycotting Israel for years - has that achieved anything meaningful? Have Palestinian lives improved in any way, at all? Will a weaker Israel translate to better lives for people in Gaza or Hebron? The answer is obviously no. They need a rich neighbor if they have any hope of creating a state.
I hate trump and the gop. But I’ll also be the first one to admit that the dems are such fucking losers - very hard to actually vote for, because I know they’ll just do absolutely nothing with the mandate that is given to them.
The new mirrorless cameras are very small and have exceptional image quality. Paired with a good quality lens, it’s very portable, has long battery life, and lets you take actual good photos. My very, very old Canon 450D can still run circles around any cellphone.
