Got tired of every single weather app and website being littered with ads. Half the time my weather apps don't load the weather maps but the ads work fine, c'mon! So decided to start my own; here's what I have so far...once I iron out the site I'll start on the Android app.
Why does it feel like any film churned out by Hollywood is just mindless banter in between sex and explosions...haven't seen a movie in theaters since well before covid because it's really not worth it, waste of time.
I've read Anthony C Yu's version twice... it's 4 volumes, each has a different colored softcover from University of Chicago Press. Literally an epic read. I personally highly recommend it. Looks like it's on Amazon and eBay. Game looks kind of cool, too
I frequently receive cease and desist notices from "legal entities" demanding I stop selling the officially authorized clothing brands on one of my sites...I ignore them. Nothing ever happens. It's a competitor, or competitors, trying real hard to take over my search engine rankings by trying to shut my site down. These DMCA requests are the same thing - basically bullying or scare tactics. Real legal requests, etc. come in the form of physical paperwork, signed and sometimes notarized.
Not sure how they do it but any time there's a fire/EMS emergency that's what plays in the station...then the human dispatcher responds to whatever units say they're going to the emergency

As far as "girl" projects...I think maybe it's more of an age thing rather than a gender thing (both boys and girls would dig working with a Pi) - I think the age matters more because there could be a learning curve involved
The dude who owned it was kind of a douche to start with, as I recall. That being said, I think I'd be hard-pressed not to sell something I started as a hobby that grew and grew.
Speaking of which, I created my own site[1] within the past couple of years...have a few friends feeding data. I set them up with Pi's, antennas, cords and the proper software. Would be super stoked if anyone else wanted to feed me!
