Should I use Coreboot or Libreboot?
I want to remove Intel ME from my computer, which is the better option?

Coreboot and Libreboot are software projects that aim to replace proprietary firmware with a lightweight, open-source alternative. However, there are some differences between them:
Libreboot is a fork of Coreboot that does not allow non-free binaries or blobs. Coreboot gives you the option to include chunks or not when building.
Libreboot only supports a small number of devices, mostly older ones. Coreboot supports more devices, including some modern ones.
Libreboot does not keep track of Coreboot updates; its most recent release is from mid-2016. Coreboot is updated regularly.
Depending on your device and your preference for free software, you may choose either one. However, installing either one may be difficult for non-technical users.

Okay, I'll bite the bullet: is this ChatGPT?
I think Libreboot would be the best option
You should use Libreboot if your device supports it. Most devices don't. Those that do are vulnerable to Spectre and Meltdown attacks, so beware.
