It depends on the couple. My first marriage was not a happy one. My second marriage was a happy one.

Surprised columbia put this behind cloudflair. Hate to see them spread into academia.
It sounds like a lot of this is due to Psychology Today misreporting a study they link to in their own piece which directly contradicts their own conclusion. People complain a lot about science journalists but this seems exceptionally bad. Psychology Today really ought to retract that piece!
