People will need to realize that these behavior are actually truly human in nature.

People thought they'd get their own persona through AI, they get a sum of the best and worse of everyone.

Let codex review Claude output and the contrary. Win for everyone involved, more code, more features, more token usage, promotions, code to be debug by juniors and the cycle of life can continue.

My attempt at VHDL was a failure but at least it helped me to get a modern build on a Sockit.

But that was a few months ago, getting high hope with fable and seeing killed before I could even try it for that project killed all my motivations.

And all the governing bodies are just money scams.

More often than not, it requires a few weeks of mandatory paid "trainings" in order to attempt (and pass) the certifications.

And because IT is IT, no two companies or persons do things in similar ways (and for good reasons, the moment you do like everyone else, you average to the middle at best), and unless you are doing PHD like work, you don't need CS.

Software engineering is more akin of witchcraft.

It's easy to read SQL code as long as the person writing the query doesn't resort to "hack" the planner. Now to make that reusable....That's another beast and most often will defeat the purpose of writing pure SQL in the first place, let's put a OR there, let's call several queries, let's screw the data model.

Well one thing is sure, before 1776, the USA didn't do any industrial espionage.

Imagine providing fibers in city such as London, Paris or Geneva. Oh wait.

France had Minitel and now, for less than 50, you have up/down 8Gbps with TV etc. 5G is half that price.

Switzerland might be even cheaper with Salt for the fiber, 5G, can be pretty cheap here too, or bloody expensive ( Swisscom )

US just has many excuses that's it.

And Anthropic put that shit model as default, after a single prompt I was wondering what was the shit it was spouting, and yes, Sonnet 5.

I have an access to a DGX spark, and while it performs better than my MacBook Pro (M3 Max), the performance on Qwen and Gemma dense models is dog shit, and not worth it.

The later takes too much mental ressources, the same when reviewing truly the code generated by the former.

I generally started by reviewing but after a while (maximum in hours), I just can't keep up and resort to LLMs as sole reviewers.

Because they will work on new projects, which are considered as CAPEX.

Basically big4 and accounting firms fucked worldwide organizations.

Considering how often dogs in my area were covered with ticks, I am surprised we never got one as teenagers, we were running or biking in the same place.

30+ years ago we would use ether to remove them, and I enjoyed burning them afterwards, it was so satisfying...

Have you worked with enterprise apps? The ones I have used for decades are hot garbages.

I commute every day in Switzerland, and we have people blasting music, shouting, putting feet on seats, taking 3 seats etc, including in 1st. I actually stopped traveling in 1st, it could be more noisy and chaotic than 2nd and the price difference wasn't worth it.

Server auctions are more expensive than last month, I feel like 50% more at a minimum.
